How we hire legal and medical experts

One route in for everyone: a short profile, one assessment and a decision from a professional in your field who has read your work. Here is each step in detail.

At a glance

About two hours of your time, in total

You do not have to do it in one sitting. Every step saves your progress, and you can pick up on any device by signing in.

  • No CV, cover letter or interview
  • No fee at any stage
  • A decision within 3 business days of submitting
  • Open to legal and medical professionals in every country
  1. Create your account

Enter your name, email address, phone number and country, choose a password and accept our Terms of Service. One account per person.

    2 minutes
  2. Confirm your email address

We send you a link to make sure we can reach you with your decision. It opens your professional profile straight away.

    1 minute
  3. Complete your professional profile

Four short sections: about you (with LinkedIn and optionally your CV), optional demographic questions, your education and employment, and your availability. Nothing here is scored.

    About 10 minutes
  4. Choose an assessment and take it

Pick the Law Assessment or the Medical Assessment, whichever is closer to your experience. You can take the other one too, at any time. Before the questions open, a briefing explains the sections and the rules, and you confirm that every answer will be your own work. There is no timer, and your answers save as you type.

    60 to 120 minutes each
  5. A professional from your field reviews your submission

A reviewer reads every answer, checks your reasoning and fact-checking and opens your shared AI conversation. We email you the decision.

    Within 3 business days
  6. Get your decision and start work

If you are hired, you add a payout account, receive your first project with its guidelines and rate, and start working whenever suits you.

    From $45 an hour
The assessments

Two assessments. Pass either one to be hired.

Once your profile is done, take the Law Assessment, the Medical Assessment, or both, in any order. Each is reviewed on its own, and each one you pass qualifies you for more projects. Both mirror the tasks trainers do on real projects, so they are also the most honest preview of the job.

Law Assessment

For attorneys, law graduates and students, paralegals, legal assistants and law clerks.

  • Compare and fact-check pairs of AI responses
  • Judge an AI response against two rubric criteria
  • Write a prompt of your own, with two rubric criteria to grade it
  • Challenge Claude Haiku 5.5 on a legal problem from your own experience
  • Tell us about your legal background

Medical Assessment

For physicians, nurses, pharmacists, other clinicians, health scientists and students.

  • Compare and fact-check pairs of AI responses
  • Judge an AI response against two rubric criteria
  • Write a prompt of your own, with two rubric criteria to grade it
  • Challenge Claude Haiku 5.5 on a clinical problem from your own experience
  • Tell us about your medical background

Your own work only. Search engines and published sources for fact-checking are fine. Apart from the model you challenge in Section 2, you may not use AI assistants or help from anyone else. Submissions that show AI-generated or copied work are declined. Read the Candidate Integrity Policy before you start.

The review

What reviewers look for

Every submission is read by a professional from your field, who scores it on the same five criteria, whichever assessment it is.

Challenging the model

A realistic, expert conversation, and a failure that is a genuine legal or medical error, clearly explained.

Fact-checking

You verify the claims in each response, catch the false details and cite credible sources.

Judging AI responses

You name the specific instruction a draft missed and the correct rule a wrong answer misapplied.

Prompt and rubric writing

An original prompt with a definite answer, and rubrics a grader could check without guessing.

Written communication

Clear, concise English a colleague or client could act on without guessing.

Tips for a strong submission

  • Challenge the model in your own specialism, not with textbook questions
  • Check your shared link opens in a private window
  • Be specific: name the fact, the rule or guideline, and why it applies
  • Write complete sentences, and reread every answer before submitting

Stopping part-way

Close the tab whenever you need to. Your answers save a couple of seconds after you stop typing, and they are waiting exactly where you left them next time you sign in, on any device.

If an assessment does not pass

You can retake that assessment 6 months after its decision, and take the other one straight away. Your decision email gives the exact date.
